Though, Emma knew Regina was busy being mayor of the town so she understood that she couldn’t always be there. She only just wished Regina could be here too enjoying this beautiful family day of games and fun. It felt like a great family moment for Emma. David and Snow even took turns playing video games with Henry as Emma watched them get beat by Henry. He just wanted to continue to play so that is what they did. Emma was pretty happy that she won a few of the racing games but then also felt bad about not letting her son win at the same time but Henry didn’t seem too sad about it. One fighting game and a few car racing games. Of course, that included playing video games with Emma which Emma didn’t mind. So, Emma agreed that she would do whatever Henry wanted to do for today.
Henry was just so excited about tonight and Emma didn’t wanna do anything to ruin his excitement or his happiness. After a while it started giving Emma a headache so she had to take some aspirin for it and it worked after about 30 minutes of taking it. After her parents and Henry came back from there shopping for fireworks, Henry wouldn’t stop talking about how good the fireworks were going to be tonight.
She just felt that it was easier to talk to her about things that she couldn’t talk to her parents or her son Henry about. She was surprised Regina even texted her back that much and truthfully Emma actually loved texting Regina lately. Although, it didn’t bother Emma knowing that Regina was actually working at the town hall by now. “Great! I will see you tonight Your Majesty!” It just needs some getting used to is all!” “Well if you keep calling me Miss Swan then I think it’s only fair that I get to call you Your Majesty. “Okay I might need to get used to you calling me that!” I can assure you that I’m happy but thank you.” “Well the same goes for you too Your Majesty. “Well then, I guess you won’t mind if I call you Your Majesty every now and then!” Although, when the hell did you start calling me Miss Swan again? What happened to just Emma?” I just never bothered to tell you until now.” Which means, I’ll always have your back!” “Oh really? You think of me as family now? When did this happen? I thought we were just friends who shared a son!” Not really looking forward to the big crowd of people going but as long as my family is there then I’ll be fine and happy.” I’d very much like to see you and be around you and the family tonight. I’m pretty sure our son would kill me as well! I was just making sure your going. He’s excited about it anyway and I’d rather not ruin his happiness. He keeps going on about how good the fireworks show will be since he’s picking them all out and frankly, I’m not very sure if I like that idea but as long as he’s not the one lighting them up then I guess it’s fine. I am going tonight because if I don’t, I’m pretty sure Henry would never forgive me.
It didn’t take very long for Emma to receive a reply and she hurried to read the response. “Hey Gina are you coming to the New Years Eve party tonight?”

Once Emma got something on the tv that looked good enough to watch, she decided to make sure that Regina was for sure going to the party tonight so she got out her phone and sent her a text. Henry wanted to pick them out and frankly Emma enjoyed the alone time in her apartment. Her parents and son were already gone and off to shop for some fireworks for tonight’s show. She didn’t care what she was watching at the moment. Also she got tired of straightening her hair anyway.Īfter Emma made herself some breakfast and finished it, she decided to sit on the couch and put the tv on to whatever good was on. She just wanted to leave it be for the night. She didn’t want to have to take the time to straighten it. She figured it was a really good thing.Īfter Emma got out of bed, took her morning shower and got dressed and so on, she made sure to leave her hair in curly golden locks for tonight’s party. Emma wasn’t sure as to how they got so close but she didn’t want to question it for Henry’s sake. After saving Henry in Neverland a few months ago, they became closer than ever. Truthfully, Emma and Regina actually formed a very strong bond recently. She mainly just wanted to be with her parents, her son and Regina.
Emma wasn’t sure if she wanted to be around a whole bunch of people. So far, a lot of people were going to go.

Snow had already planned on a little party at Granny’s place for dinner for everyone in town who wanted to come for free food and drinks as well as seeing a firework show outside of Granny’s Diner. She was going to take today and tomorrow off work and just spend the holidays with her family and friends. From being the town sheriff and the towns savior was just wearing her out. She felt groggy and very tired from the past week’s work schedule. Emma was just waking up to her alarm going off.
